Ireland Fellows Programme Celebrates 50th Anniversary

On 2 October, the Department of Foreign Affairs marked the 50th anniversary of Irish Aid and the Ireland Fellows Programme. Since the Programme was establishment in 1974, almost 4,000 Fellows have studied in Ireland under this prestigious award. The Ireland Fellows Programme has grown and evolved over the years, transforming many lives, and making invaluable contributions to capacity development throughout the world. The Programme has also been instrumental in building global links with Ireland.
