Ireland Fellows Volunteering Programme Launch

The Ireland Fellows Programme is delighted to launch the Ireland Fellows Volunteering Programme (IFVP), an initiative for international students studying in higher education institutions across Ireland thanks to the Ireland Fellows Programme (IFP)

The programme aims to encourage engagement between the Ireland Fellows and their host communities, as well as enrich their experience of living and studying in Ireland by fostering social integration in the local community. By contributing to their community with active participation, new perspective and innovative solutions that bring about positive change, the Fellows will also develop stronger bonds with their host country which will allow for stronger cooperation between Ireland and their home countries.

Fellows will participate in various volunteering activities connected to the themes of culture, environment and climate action, health and wellbeing, inclusion and diversity, poverty, education, children and youth, elderly, and animals, both on and off campus.

We are currently looking for organisations that would be interested in offering volunteering opportunities to our students and/or co-organising volunteering activities in collaboration with ICOS. Those interested in working with us can contact us at ifpvolunteering@icosirl.ie.
